In 8th grade,actually from about 6th grade through 9th grade, I wanted to be an Actress.
In highschool I decided an Attorney would be a great career choice for me.
What I do now??? Insurance. I manage an Insurance Agency. I've been in insurance for 17 years. I've been an insurance clerk, underwriter and a claims adjuster over the years.
In the 8th grade, I would have never imagined or guessed that I would end up in this field of work, but I'm very very glad I did!
I loved science & biology since ever since. I always wanted to be a "scientist" but that was a vague notion to my mom & dad who wanted me to be managers like them. Mom tried to dissuade me by calling me "sayangtist" (sayang means "too bad" or "what a waste" in Tagalog). Mom was always too funny. Well, after 18 years of working at various capacities, I ended up being a manager anyway. Ever think of acting in some local plays? I think you'd do well!
