Bwahahaha!
Every Sunday I read the new post secrets. When I come across postcards that
could be about me, I start to wonder if someone I know sent one in about me..I immediately make a mental note of everyone I know who could have possibly sent it, and then I go over that list and cross off everyone who probably has no clue what "Post Secrets" is, then I cross of everyone who I think would be too lazy to take the time to write out a postcard and pay .43 cents to send it...by then my list is usually blank and I realize, the post card wasn't ment for me...ha ha ha..Today I came across this one and I just had to laugh!!!
Maybe this one was ment for me??? Hrmmmm..ha ha

T's home.
My baby's back. Well, she isn't really my "baby"..she's my first born. After a year and a half stint in the Coast Guard, she decided (actually, it was kinda decided for her) that the Coast Guard was not the life for her..so she was honorably discharged. I'm soooo happy to have her home! If only for a short while : ( She will soon return to Washington to start her college life...In the meantime, I plan to spend as much time with her as I can..I have really missed her!

cupcakes!
I received a bunch of super cute mini clear stamps in the mail today..I couldn't wait to try em' out...
I love love love the cupcake stamp (in the bottom circle)!!I also got my order from onyx stamps yesterday and I got some really cool stuff...Here's a card I whipped up really quick with one of my new stamps from onyx... The stamps are kinda small and hard to work with because they are all black..but the ones I ordered are sooo funny and the sentiments that go with them just crack me up! I hate the color combination I used here but I was kinda rushing...The sentiment "Eat Cake" was not one of the stamps it was a rub off...But I thought it went so well with the stamped image..tee hee!
more to come..more to come....weekend where are you?????

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

The last supper....
I'm thinking of holding a HUGE dinner party at my house sometime this month..I will invite everyone I know, and people I don't know...cook to my hearts desire..everything and anything in my cook book, my mom's cookbook...Hell, I may even borrow my neighbors cookbook...
Why, you may ask??? What's the occasion???
Wellllllllll...This will probably be my last month having ELECTRICITY at my house...with a $500.00 plus a month power bill now, that will double by next month, there is noooo way I will be able to continue to keep the power on...
I'm at my wits end and I don't know what to do...I have gotten rid of my dryer, use a gas burner for the most part, changed my light bulbs to energy savers, bake only on occasion, run my hot water heater for 3-4 hours in the evening, and use the air conditioning only at night...I don't have the heart to cut off the air conditioning for the kids (and myself) at night...but looks like CUC is going to do that for me after all...Oh, and I even installed energy savers into my home (which brought my bill down from the $700-$800.00 range)
The thought of having to take cold showers is giving me goosebumps as I type...I did it for years as a child..we never had hot water...for the most part we didn't even have water...we showered from buckets of water that we filled when the water would come on for two hours at 4am in the morning....It's just a matter of adjusting...but I don't want to adjust!!!! I love hot water...I need hot water...I work hard for my hot water...and to provide air conditioning for my children, and refrigerated food, and light...ahhhh, but I guess CUC does not feel that I work hard enough.....aghhhh...but I digress..
So yeah...Dinner anyone?
