Buh Bye Fattie, fattie 2 by 4!

The final weigh in for the Body Success Challenge was this Sunday. I must say I felt a lot more confident in my shorts and tank top then I felt when the initial "BEFORE" picture was taken and I jetted as fast as I could from the little dressing room straight into the aerobics room where the pictures were being taken hoping no one would see me : )

Well, the results (drum roll please)

I dropped 20.5 lbs...5 inches off my waist and one inch off my thighs and an inch off my calf...

Not bad! My goal was 30lbs, but I'm really happy with my results and even though the contest is over, I'm not done yet...I hope to drop another 20 before my next B-day.

I don't know if I won any of the prizes yet..the winners will be announced next weekend..but my family thinks I'm a winner already and thet's all that really matters
:)~

How did the rest of you do? Do tell!

I saw you at Gold's actually & you looked amazing! Some personal goals for the 3 months were to lose 20lbs, be able to do 10 pull ups in perfect form, and run a 5K in 20 minutes. I only lost 16lbs, can probably do 8 pull ups before losing form, & can barely make the 20min mark. It was a difficult challenge!

It feels great though. I now feel confident tucking in my shirts; I've been called slim, svelte & for the first time in my life, buff! I may not win the Challenge but there is no substitute for feeling this healthy, & having the ability to share with other people that they can do it too. I can see my abs now after more than a decade!

Let's keep on the right track & set new goals. Congratulations, Tam! You look marvelous!

Beachcomber,

Man your stealth..I had no clue you were around..and Im not sure even if I did see you, I would know it was you..he he

Thank you so much for your comment though..you made my day! :)

Your absolutely right though, just because the contest is over doesn't mean we have to stop getting healthier. It sounds like you did really GREAT too! I wish I could run..*sigh* Perhaps that will be my next goal...learn to run..sounds like a plan!

Good Luck and maybe just maybe I will see you tomorrow...
