A fish tale

Just when I thought the weekend couldn't get any better, my brother Will offered to take Ulu and I fishing today. I LOVEEEEEEEEE fishing!!!! Of course it ment I had to get up before the roosters but it was well worth it!!

We headed out at about 5:30am and the plan was to head toward Tinian and do some bottom fishing out near the blow hole..
This was one of two pictures I got of myself during the trip :)

Watching the sun come up over Saipan has to be one of the most gorgeous sights. It was a bit cloudy today, but still beautiful!

The water going out was crystal clear and we could see straight thru to the coral.

Maneuvering through the big ships was pretty cool too.

Ulu was eager to get started with the fishing and so was I!!

Right around the big ships we ran into a school of baby tuna..managed to catch a few as well as catching sight of a rainbow.

With the sun coming up, the fishing was well under way..While the boys fished, I tried to catch a few good pictures of the birds. The amount of sea birds that chase the tuna and the size of the birds is incredible...really an amazing sight!

All those black dots are birds..

The further out we got, the bigger the tuna got.

We finally made it out to the cliff line of Tinian.

There were quite a few tourists out at the blow hole.

With enough fish for dinner, we headed back in.

Good catch!

Great Day!

Ulu and me

:)

Yes, I'm a jerk.

Is it really? "Ulu and me"? I'm terrible at English, grammer and spelling....and since I am one of probably two people on Saipan who have never met you and don't know you personally, I will reserve commenting on you being a "jerk" .....for now :)

That's ok, in Saipan it's me and Ulu or I and si' Ulu is ok too:) Angelo's not a jerk, he's just making up for his dream of being a grammar teacher.

What happened to my other comment where I said I was jealous of you fishing?

...and I think we have met.

It was lunch. Susupe. Vietnamese. I was with someone you know.
