I'm sure I have put on at least 25lbs this year and its time to take it all off and then some..so today is the official start of my diet (aghh, I hate that word!) The plan is to drop 30 pounds by my birthday, 90 days from now..I have never been able to stick to a diet or a work out plan before...I'd do it for a day or two..sometimes a week, then I would give up. I normally eat whatever I want to eat whenever I want to..but at my age, I really can't be doing that any more. My metabolism has slowed wayyyy down. I'm starting to get lower back aches and I swear at nights when I can't sleep I hear my subconscious "skinny me" saying "HELP! Get me out of here!"
I don't think I have drank a glass of water in over 10 years (ok maybe I have on occasion, but I'm sure never more than one glass on any given day). My daily refreshments consist of Mr. Brown Ice Coffee, Hot coffee, Coke Zero and Ice tea (with sugar).
Since I can never stick to a diet on my own, I thought that maybe if I blog about it, and I know that the people who read my blog know that I'm suppose to be on this "diet" maybe it will motivate me to stick with it this time...accountability of sorts??.. We shall see..I was going to post my starting weight, but after typing the number and then deleting it 4 times, I realized that I don't have the guts to do that just yet..ha ha..maybe at the end of the 90 days when I've reached my goal..but I am posting the Jenny Craig requisite "before" picture....

Not fair...the "before" picture is out of focus so it makes you look bigger than you really are...thus in 90 days when you post one in focus it would look like you really lost lots of weight...hehehe
Remember, there's a bet on this one!! you call the amount! I'm going in at 200 lbs (YIKES!). #1 'loser' (of weight that is) gets it all...so you might as well give it to me now. :-)

I have a free pass to Curves if you want it. I'm tellin' you sista, it's fun and addictive. Last night I passed up a P.I.C. buffet to work out and I was already there!
What Lil'? Like you don't obsess about your weight. Let's all go to Curves Wednesday night! I'll see you there, if you're brave enough. I'm usally there at quarter til five or five.

In all seriousness, IT'S NOT HEALTHY to lose weight that fast. I guarantee you that if you try to 'fast', whatever you eat afterwards will turn into additional weight...your body will think it's still 'famine' time and go into storing mode...so it will store whatever 'comes' to be ready for the next anticipated 'famine'.
Lose weight in a healthier way...eat plenty veggies,fruits, less fatty foods, no more sodas...water and tea (no sugar)...use lemon to flavor both. Swim, swim, swim or walk...helps a lot! DO NOT 'STARVE' YOUR BODY!

Boni, Where do you find that (Red bull)? Oh, and can't make it to Curves tonight. I usually don't get out of work till about 5:30 then have to pick up the Mr. (car pooling)But I did talk to Karen at curves and will going in for my free tour and "figure analysis" (at least I think thats what she said) this friday.
