"Thursday Thoughts I"

Deece has her "Wednesday What is it?" and I really enjoy reading everyone's answers on her blog, so I decided to try and start my own regular blog thingie (I have no idea what you call it) but I'm going to call mine "Thursday's Thoughts". Every Thursday I'm going to post a new question and whoever visits my blog has to answer the question in the comments section.
Simple as that :)

So we here go..

My first question :

If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Do tell!

My answer :

American Samoa, because I would like the kids to see where they are from and experience that part of their culture. I also would like them to meet some of their family members from that side. Also, because Ulu is also from there and he hasn't been home in ages and he would be really happy to return home for vacation. And I have heard it's a very beautiful place.

It's ten below here at the moment with an expected high of two below and that's fahrenheit. We still have no beer in the stores after two weeks and the chinese are buying up all the mutton.

Saipan sounds just fine with me, I'll bring some candles and lighters which have a flashlight built in. You can give them to the kids.

I'd go back to San Francisco.

1) Because it's home for me...even though I was born here.

2) It's closer to my family (mom, kid bro, and kid sis).

3) My "Happy Ocean" lives & goes to school there.

4) I miss the cold weather.

New York, here I come!!! hehehe :-)It would be neat to visit old stomping grounds, places we lived on Staten Island, and Brooklyn, and see places we spent our weekends.

They have a million fruit bats haning on ironwood trees right on Madang's coast. I am serious about this; over 1,000,000 fruitbats (just as those we have here) just waiting for the hungry Chamorro.

I've been there and a week stay was not long enough.

There are good places to stay and the locals are friendly to visitors but you need to catch a plane from Port Moresby, via Goroka.
